starting with 413...

413. Today, things are kind of shakey in my world so counting blessings and being thankful means digging a little deeper today. And then again, it is easy to find things to be thankful for because the bright spots are brighter. So first of all, I'm thankful for the bright, bright spots.

414. I'm thankful for those who can remain positive despite the negative around them.

415. For those who can accept life for what it is and have faith that things will work out for the best.

416. I'm really thankful for people I've known in my life who are honest. I mean HONEST in how they run their business or organization that is entrusted to them. Trustworthy, honest, full of great character and...well, honest. Through and through. Those people are rare.

417. I'm thankful for laughter. The kind that comes out of no where and just feels good. The kind that is uncontrolled. Enjoyed by the person and all who hear it.

418. I'm thankful for club soda. My stress drink! Yeah, don't laugh. Ice cold with a twist of lemon.

419. for funny cop stories. Thanks to my state cop neighbor!

420. I'm thankful for fresh fruits in my fridge.

421-428. And for all the things that make me happy. Soft sheets, yummy smelling soap, hot baths, strong coffee, warm kisses, tight hugs, pedicures, backrubs....

417-418: Cody made his "sweat marks"! Officially varisty track. Overcoming some big obstacles and never quitting.

419: I'm thankful for my contract. No, not next years...but I have a month left on this years and that is my focus. I'm thankful for perspective on this.

420: for boldness in the right times. I appreciate when people can stand for what they believe in and not shy away.

425: I'm thankful for Mondays, for routines, for same ol' same ol'.

426: I'm thankful for having to really think about what I'm thankful for. Some days the list pours out, some days I search the corners of my heart....

Have a beautiful Monday! Be thankful for something.

Multiitude Monday --counting my 1000 gifts

400. baby words that make us laugh. Like "Tidey" which is my son's lastest name, labeled by my great nephew.

401. Family ties. Some things change and some things, like ties, never do.

402. For rain!

403. familiar hands. I'm a hand person. Mine look so much like my Dad's and my grandmother's. Memories....

404. for fresh produce in the city groceries stores! Oh the beauty and excitement for us country folk.

405. for assurance that God is in control and has a plan, in the midst of these crazy, crazy, HUGE, budget cut days.

406. And for prayer during these times, even though I know it will all be okay, I'm thankful for a place to put my worries and concerns.

407. I'm thankful for my daughter's good grades and her hard work to get them there. Her drive in her education is so refreshing!

408. For the kind boy at WT who took my son thru the whole production studio and excited him even more for college...someday. Little seeds of encouragement and excitement go a long ways!

409. For familiar. EVERYTHING familiar and ordinary. Dependable, reliable, normal.

410. For the times breakdowns were really breakthroughs, even though only understood thru hindsight.

411. For those who trust me.

412. For unconditional love. COMPLETELY unconditional. It is a rare jewel.

Have a beautiful Monday. I hope you are aware of every little blessing today, as it tumbles into your path or just floats quietly beside you.
